Having a spot of bother with that new software

or new workflow your network has adopted ?

Apple Certified Trainer to the ABC, Disney, and Animal Logic,
Cathy Vogan, proposes a new concept in broadcast training,

What is it?

In the world of body-building, Spot Training means working your weak points to develop them.

Every broadcast professional has the task of continually acquiring new skills,

and with a busy schedule, itÕs very easy for gaps to accumulate in oneÕs knowledge-base.

A little Spot Training is really all a good professional needs to pump up the workflow again.

Where do you get it?

You donÕt need to go anywhere. Spot Training comes to you, and is carried out on the spot.

It can even include assistance with your teamÕs everyday tasks.

Who uses Spot Training?

Before it had a name, exactly this kind of service was requested of Ms Vogan, on behalf of

Support Partners and Apple Australia, for the staff of the ABC nationwide in 2007 and 2008.

She has performed similar services for Disney Pictures and for Animal Logic, working with

acclaimed film editor, Martin Connor, in preparation for the upcoming ÒGuardians of GaÕHooleÓ
animated feature.  New to an Xsan environment, Hackett Films (ÒDirt GirlÓ), have requested

a plan for integrating work-flow between their Final Cut Server, CS3 and Maya pipelines.

WhatÕs available?

Spot Training can help your editors, graphists, animators, graders, technical staff and producers.

We can also assist with and streamline a 360 degree delivery to new media platforms.

Services include contextual and in-depth training in Final Cut Server, Final Cut Studio, CS3 Premium /

Version Cue, assistance with transitions, such as AVID to Apple, or SD to HD, and workflow solutions

for fast-turnover Broadcast Design. For a free consultation and quote, click here

What else?

Spot Training is but the tip of the iceberg. Thinking youÕll first be needing to get that new system installed ?

Or perhaps follow up training with some ongoing hardcore Support from a team of Certified System EngineersÉ

Ms Vogan collaborates with the cream of broadcast support world-wide,

and would be more than happy to study your needs in tandem with these partners.
